Ms. Longberry concentrates her practice in representing employers and carriers in workers' compensation claims and appeals stemming from workers' compensation claims. Particularly, her practice centers on the representation of employee leasing companies and PEOs. She has tried numerous cases involving PEOs and carriers in disputes ranging from allegations of fraud to complex medical issues. She has also handled many appeals and has successfully argued in front of the First DCA. Additionally, she has authored Amicus Curiae briefs on behalf of FAPEO.
Born in Warren and raised in Cortland, Ohio, Ms. Longberry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington & Jefferson College, with a concentration in political science. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ms. Longberry is a member of both the Florida Bar and Georgia Bar and has been admitted to the practice of law in the State of Florida for 21 years.
When she’s not working, Ms. Longberry enjoys spending time with her husband, her son and their 3 cats.
