Mrs. Hurley is a founding member and equity partner of Jones, Hurley and Hand, P.A. She has been designated an "AV" Peer Review Rated Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, the most authoritative and widely consulted directory of lawyers in the United States. 

Mrs. Hurley was born in West Virginia and raised in upstate New York. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and Government from Florida State University. She also earned her law Degree from Florida State University in 1984. While there, she was a founding editor of the Florida State University Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law, which now is ranked among the nation's top 15 journals in environmental law.  She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984. She joined the law firm of B.C. Pyle, P.A. in May of 1996, wherein she became a partner and shareholder of Pyle, Jones and Hurley in 1998. This firm would later become Jones, Hurley and Hand. 

On a personal note, Mrs. Hurley enjoys travel, and the mountains of North Carolina. Despite gravity, she enjoys mountain biking and road cycling. She shares a passion for running with her daughter who began attending Rollins College in the fall of 2012.
